Precision Castparts has refused to recognize or negotiate with approximately 100 welders who joined together with the Machinists Union. IAM representatives have not been allowed to conduct safety inspections in the plant and the company is refusing to recognize union stewards or rights.
The IAM has filed multiple unfair labor practice charges against the company.
