Today L3 Communications – Army Fleet Support announced that the Government has approved and is offering an Early Retirement program as defined in the current CBA. (click here to download a copy of the announcement)
The program is for all L3 Bargaining Unit Employees including Bargaining Unit Employees working for a sub-contractor under the current CBA.
This allows an employee who retires under this program and is insured under the Company’s health insurance plan prior to retirement, the Company will pay the total cost of continuing such health insurance coverage for three (3) years or to age 65, whichever is earlier.
The deadline to apply for the Early Retirement is December 15, 2014. Employees approved for this program must retire on or before December 19, 2014.
