Tell CarMax to Stop Selling Unsafe, Recalled Cars

CarMax2An online petition to get CarMax to stop selling unsafe, recalled cars needs the help of IAM members to get over 100,000 signatures.

CarMax, the largest used-car retailer in the U.S., claims that every car it sells passes a “125-point inspection,” but reports show the car dealer fails to get free safety recall repairs done before it sells cars to consumers.

Tell CarMax to stop selling unsafe, recalled cars to consumers without getting the free repairs done first.

“CarMax sells ticking time bomb cars with safety defects like: catching on fire, brake failure, exploding air bags, axles that break, ignition switches that make cars die in traffic and disable the air bags, and other life-threatening safety defects,” reads the petition from the Consumers for Auto Reliability and Safety.
