Unions from around the world are throwing their support behind working people at an Illinois IKEA distribution center who on Tuesday and Wednesday vote on IAM representation.
Affiliates of the Building and Wood Workers’ International Union are sending photos and messages of support to the 120 workers in Minooka, encouraging them to vote “IAM Yes.”
IAM members from the U.S. and Canada are meeting with BWI-affiliated unions from Russia, Sweden and Slovakia at the IAM’s Winpisinger Education Center this week.
