IAM Union's Efforts to Enhance Contract Language

Contract negotiations with M1 Support Services are currently underway. The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM Union), commonly referred to as “the Union,” is here to support the Negotiation Committee, which is diligently working to improve various aspects of the contract language. The primary focus is on enhancing the terms and conditions to better serve the needs and rights of the employees. The Union’s commitment to these negotiations reflects its dedication to achieving a more favorable and comprehensive agreement for all members involved.

Additionally, a significant aspect of these negotiations is ensuring continuous support for the warfighters at Fort Novosel. Maintaining the readiness and safety of the Army and Air Force’s aircraft is of the utmost importance. 

We – the Union – should be dedicated to guaranteeing that these aircraft remain safe and flyable, allowing our military personnel to receive the highest-quality training. By securing a robust contract, the Union aims to uphold the standards necessary for the effective training of warfighters, thereby contributing to national security efforts.

As the negotiations progress, the Union remains steadfast in its mission to support both the workforce and the critical operations at Fort Novosel, ensuring that the Army and Air Force have the necessary resources to continue their vital training programs.
