Dear Union Members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Local Lodge 2003,
We hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. As dedicated professionals working on the M1 Contract, we hold a crucial responsibility to maintain and repair the Army's and Air Force's aircraft. Our role is not only significant but also a source of great pride, dating back to 1955 when the IAM began to represent the members at Camp Rucker. We contribute to the training and readiness of the warfighter.
It is essential to remember that the quality of our work directly impacts the effectiveness and safety of the military aircraft we service. Therefore, I would like to remind all members to always perform proper maintenance by adhering strictly to the technical data provided. This ensures that we deliver reliable and high-quality aircraft to our military personnel, who depend on our expertise and commitment.
Let us continue to uphold the highest standards in our work, demonstrating our dedication to excellence and our unwavering support for our armed forces. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that our efforts contribute positively to the mission of defending our nation.
Additionally, please be informed that the Grievance Negotiating Committee is currently at the IAMAW training center, the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center, located in Hollywood, MD, for negotiation preparations. All communications from the elected Grievance Negotiating Committee will be posted on the official IAM Local Lodge 2003 website, www.iam2003.org.
Thank you for your hard work, professionalism, and continued dedication.
In Solidarity,
