Pratt & Whitney Agrees to Extend Deadline

September 9, 2009 - The IAM campaign to save more than 1,000 Connecticut aerospace jobs took a number of important steps forward last week, culminating in a commitment by Connecticut Governor M. Jodi Rell to provide Pratt & Whitney with $100 million in tax credits, training assistance and other benefits if the company suspends plans to close two Connecticut facilities.
