Solidarity Rally : A Huge Success
The IAM&AW Local Lodge 2003 Solidarity Rally was a huge success with an estimated 1,400 members showing up for the day's events.
Your Local Lodge 2003 Strike Committee, Executive Board, Negotiating Committee, District No. 75 and International Aerospace Coordinator, thanks you, the membership for supporting our Solidarity Rally today "April 12th". The weather finally cooperated and we had an outstanding membership turn out in conjunction with the cancer motorcycle ride "Relay for Life" event. We grilled hamburgers, hotdogs with chips, sodas and enjoyed friendship while enjoying high-quality music and fun. There were approximately 1400 members and many local community members in attendance throughout the day. For our members required to work and those who did not receive notice, we will ensure better communications in the future. In attendance for the rally was the majority of your Negotiating Team, which consist IAM Aerospace Coordinator, District Business Representative and Local Lodge Negotiating Committee for a meet and greet. Many Thanks to our Negotiating Team for all the planning and long hours put into preparing our Local Lodge for the upcoming negotiations.
Special mention and a Thank You, to the event participants who donated their time and resources in support of the upcoming negotiations. These are members of Local Lodge 2003
