Day Thirteen Of The AFS Negotiations

Negotiations will continue tomorrow.

Negotiations are still moving forward. At the end of the day, we presented the company with another Union counter, and the company requested to adjourn for the day to consider our proposal. We are awaiting a new counter-proposal from AFS. We are scheduled to meet in the morning. It is our expectation to have a Last, Best and Final Offer from the company sometime tomorrow.

Discussions are now centered on wages, health care and pension benefits. It’s difficult to know at this time where things will be at the end of the negotiations. Again, once a final offer is reached We Will be in a position to share the information with our membership.
