IAM Local Lodge 2339N this week passed a motion to donate $25,000 to the IAM Disaster Relief Fund. This motion was in response to GVP Pantoja’s letter to all Transportation Locals urging them for donations to help our members.
“I thank the members and officers of Local 2339N for their generous donation to the IAM Disaster Relief Fund,” said GVP Pantoja. “Their support will directly benefit IAM members and their families.”
IAM Local Lodge 2339N, which represents ExpressJet, CommutAir, and OpenSkies Flight Attendants, unanimously voted in favor of supporting the fund. To date, Hurricanes Harvey and Irma have affected over two dozen of their members.
